(That wasn't the word used, but it sounds better) -Will we ever have decent schooi transportation again? -What can we do about school bus transportation? -The bus stop is so far away that I have no idea whether or not my child caught the bus. If he missed it, then he wili have to waik or hitch-hike. There is no other choice. -TotaIly unacceptable. These are only a few of the commenta from people who caiied me last week. The weatheris nice now, what wiil it be like when it gets coid? The town bus service has been in operation for ap- proximately three months. The month of August, the Whitby transit ran over $12,000 in the red. Part of this deficit will be subsidized by the Ontario Governnzent, and the rest will be picked up by Whitby Taxpayers.
