Hlgh sehool students lost their transportation priviledges when the town introduced the transit ser- vice earlier this year. According to pollcy laid dow by the board and the provincial goverment tran- sportation will flot be provided for high school students if an "adequate" public service exista. Most of the speakers at the meeting feit that the service was not adequate for their needs of the needs of their children. While moot of them agreed that the service was needed, most of them echoed one speaker's thought that "the service was far from superlor."
