At U~onday night's meeting of Whitby Town Council, it was decided to move the common transfer point from the intersection of Brock Str-eet and Dundas Street (the "Four Corners") to the intersection of Coîbourne Street East and Brock Street South. This will put the transfer area imniediately next to the fire station. According to the t'own's director of public works, the move was made for several reasons. R. O'Leary officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr & Mrs Joseph Schembri, Ajax. The bridegroom is the son of Mr & Mrs Robert Loney of Whitby. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a white gown of polyorgAnza featuring a fitted bodice of chantilly lace fashioned in an attached long sleeve, bolero style top with modified Queen Ann neckline. Seaded pearîs dotted the neckline and bolero edge, lace scailops edged the flared over- skirt under which a flared ruffle draped into a chapel train. Lace and pearis held her fingertip veil and also edged in chan- tilly lace. She carried a nosegi.y of roses, carnations, daisies and baby's breath and she wore a sprig of purple heather for good luck. Catherine Schembir of Ajax, sister of the bride was maid-of- honor. Bridesmaids were Monica Stephenson of Ajax, sister of the bride and Tracey-Coilen Loney of Whitby, sister of the groom. Kevin Roche of Whitby acted as best man. Ushers were Mark Paul Schembri of Ajax and Leon Loney of Whitby. Walter Ludlow of Greenwood, B.C. nephew of the bride was ring bearer. The weddlng reception was held at St. BernadetteS Parish Rail in Ajax. The couple spet a week honeymooning in the Colorado Rockies.
