Police raid local health studio Crystal Health Studio Durham Regional Police have arrested one man and three women charged of keeping a common bawdy house after a month long in- vestigation into the ac- tivities of a Brock Street health studio. Members of a joint On- tarîo Provincial Police Durham Region Police squad headed by Staff/Sgt. Ed Wilson, raided Crystal's' Health Studio, 409 Brock Street South, last Friday at 6 p.m. Peel Regional Police later arrested a man at his Mississauga residence. Durham police Inspector Doug Bulloch said that the force will continue to monitor the studie's ac- tivities in the future. Alvin Raywood Barr, 38, of Shepard Street, Mississauga, is charged with being the keeper of a common bawdy house. Joanne CunÏningham, 23, of Sixth Line, Oakville; Bet- ty Jane Walton, Langst.aff Road West, Thornhill; and, Rosa Cioffi, 26, of Weston Road, Weston are all charged with keeping a common bawdy house. Cioffi and Walton are also charged with being inmates in a common bawdy house. Ail four of the accused are scheduled to appear in Whlthy provincial court on June 9.
