This tug was designed by my father Fred Weaver, who was at the time Marine Superintendent for McNamara Marine. The hull was built in their Leeside yard in Toronto. It was "towed" by truck to the then new heavy lift crane in Toronto harbour. The hull was towed to Port Whitby, dry docked for outfit & completion.
The tug was named for Captain Angus Blue, a long time naster in their fleet. My mother christened the tug.
Sincerely,
Mike W.
