Notes

Adye, Edwin Ralph George was appointed rector of All Saints' Anglican Church in Whitby in 1930. Rev. Adye served in the First World War and was wounded at Hill 70 in 1917. Later, he graduated from Wycliffe College and his first clerical appointment was at Kinmount, Ontario. Following that he was assistant rector of St. Peter's Anglican Church at Cobourg. Also, he served as a chaplain in England with the Canadian Army. After the Second World War, Canon Adye was rector of All Saints' Anglican Church, Collingwood.
