- A black and white negative of the Royal Hotel and Brock Theatre. The Royal Hotel is decorated with flags in honour of the coronation of King George VI which took place on 12 May 1937.
- Notes
- The Royal Hotel was located at 171 Brock Street North. It was designed by Toronto architect Henry Langley and was built in 1873. The Brock Theatre was located at 173 Brock Street North. Originally the building for the Brock Theatre was built as the Chronicle office in 1862. The movie showing at the time of this photograph was "Theodora Goes Wild".
