- Royal Hotel was located at 171 Brock Street North. Antoine (Tony) Rousseau (husband of Roseanna Rousseau) was proprietor of the Royal Hotel. The motorcycles in this photograph were owned by the Ontario Provincial Police. The OPP were escorting a group of hunger marchers through Whitby on their way to Ottawa.
