- A black and white photograph of a man standing infront of Joseph Heard motor bus on Elm Street.
- Notes
- Joseph Heard and Sons ran their business at 124 Brock Street North. Joseph Heard ran a cartage and livery. He operated a bus service to and from the hotels and the railway stations in Whitby. In 1917 he replaced his horse-drawn bus with the first motor bus in Whitby. Destroyed by fire, September 13, 2017 and demolished.
