The house on the right was the Manse for the Myrtle United Church. It was the home for the ministers. It is a designated historical Whitby landmark.
I stand corrected it was the Methodist Episcopal Church Parsonage....I had just looked at a photo of the Myrtle United Church and wrote that by mistake.
