- A black and white photograph of Elmer Cooke's Gas Station.
- Notes
- This building was built in 1857 at Myrtle as a Methodist Episcopal Church. It was moved to Myrtle Station in 1908 and to this site in 1920. The back of the old church, seen here, faced the street and formed the front of this gas station. Elmer Cooked operated the gas station from 1920 until his death in 1977. The building was demolished in 1980.
