- A black and white negative showing Eileen McBride kneeling down on the front of her boat at the Whitby Yacht Club in August of 1939. In this view she is smiling at the photographer.
- Notes
- The Whitby Yacht Club was founded in the fall of 1933 and disbanded during the Second World War. The clubhouse was built on the east side of the Whitby harbour basin in 1934. High water levels destroyed the clubhouse and it was demolished in 1951.
