- This gravestone was created by the Whitby Archives to represent Whitby's fallen soldiers of the First World War.In addition to research conducted by staff, these names appear in Whitby's Honour Roll which is engraved on the Cenotaph located on Dundas Street East at Green Street.

- Please note: We have been unsuccessful in locating any of the usual military records for Cuthbert Stuart aside from his name appearing on the All Saints' Anglican Church Honour Roll.
