- A black and white photograph of the Whitby Harbour. A home known as "Bayside" can be seen on the west side of the Harbour. A boat can be seen in the water.
- Notes
- "Bayside" was the property of William Gordon from 1838 to 1888. From 1888 until 1912, the farm was the home of John Smith. In 1912, the property was purchased by the provincial government for the Ontario Hospital (formerly the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital). The brick house that can be seen in this photograph was built in 1855, and demolished in 1978.
