- A black and white negative of Edward Wallace Buffett (1943-2011).
- Notes
- Edward Wallace Buffett was born in 1943. In 1981 he founded Buffett, Taylor & Associates at Whitby and was President and Chief Executive Office of Buffet & Co. Worksite Wellness Inc. He was Chairman of the Whitby General Hospital Board of Governors, 1991-94 and served on the Board of Governors of McMaster University in Hamilton. He served locally on the United Way, Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Durham Community Foundation. Ed Buffett established scholarships for medical students and created a chair for Breast Cancer at McMaster University. In 2006 he was given an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from McMaster. In 1991 he was named Good Corporate Citizen by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce; in 1999 he received the first Who's Who In Health Care Award and in 2000 was named Canadian Wellness Hero. Ed Buffett died at Oshawa on 5 March 2011.
