Description
A black and white negative of a portrait of Mr. Earl Alexander Ormiston.
Notes
Earl Alexander Ormiston was born at Enfield, Ontario, on March 15, 1918. He worked at General Motors in Oshawa and was a flame throwing instructor during the Second World War. He was President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 112 from 1983 to 1988, and was made a life member in 1987. His wife Dorothy was several times President of the Legion Ladies' Auxiliary and was in charge of the Legion's catering service. Mr. Ormiston died at Oshawa General Hospital on October 13, 1994, and is buried at Groveside Cemetery.
