In its efforts to support the local business community, the chamber recently launched Brooklin Java Jolt -- a bi-monthly informal forum that allows business owners to exchange ideas and share successes. Membership within the chamber is not necessary to attend. Open discussion includes issues and challenges facing business owners and operators. Registration is not required. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the second floor board room of the Brooklin Community Centre and Library, 8 Vipond Rd., Brooklin.
