The term of this appointment is four years and coincides with the term of Regional Council. Interested residents are requested to submit a completed application form to the Regional Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on November 15, 2018. The DRPSB is the civilian governing body of the police service. The Police Services Act requires that the DRPSB include a community member appointed by resolution of the Regional Council, who is neither a member of Regional Council, nor an employee of The Regional Municipality of Durham.
