Looking northwest from Green Street at the demolition of the old Whitby Main Fire Hall.
Notes
The Whitby Main Fire Hall was built at the corner of Brock and Colborne Streets in 1964/65. It was officially opened on May 26, 1965 by Mayor Warren Mowat. Before the fire hall, the Hopkins' Music Hall (1877-79) and Town Hall (1879-1960) stood on the same site.
