Description

The schools closed their doors during March break and have remained closed. Online/at home schooling began April 6, 2020 in Durham. For my family it has gone very well. My children go to Whitby shores public school. The online learning has been very straight forward and a respectable amount. I have a grade 3 and a grade 7 in my house. Neither have been overwhelmed.
Connecting with their teachers and having a schedule brings a bit of old normal into our new normal. We are very pleased with how it is all going and are not concerned about the rest of the school year. We have confidence that next year the teachers will do all they can to catch the kids up.
