- Black and white photograph taken at the sod turning ceremony for the yet-to-be-constructed Burns Presbyterian Church. The model of the new church is sitting on a table. This event took place on September 10, 1967.
- Notes
- Burns Presbyterian Church is located at 765 Myrtle Road West in Ashburn. The original church was built in 1857 and destroyed by fire on February 12, 1967. A new structure was built in 1967/68 just to the east of the original location. The bell from the original church, which was removed prior to the fire, sits on the site of the original structure.
