- My name is Sarah. Not only I am a cartoonist, but I am also a caregiver. I support seniors and people with disabilities.
When I heard about the virus, I was scared. The people I knew were getting sick, rules at work were changing and soon I was working a very stressful shift. Things were becoming overwhelming, but then I remember something...
I am not alone in this. I have team of PSWs and Nurses who are always by my side.
I am not a hero, like the ones in those superhero comics, but the seniors I work with need my support more than ever.
I am not perfect, but I will try my best and with my team by my side I will survive.
I made this drawing to reminded me that I am not alone and be brave for the events to come. I also made it into a coloring page to inspire courage in others.
