Notes
This photograph was taken on a group of Whitby Boy Scouts' canoe trip from Port Perry, Ontario to Montreal, Quebec to commemorate the centennial of Canada's confederation. This image depicts some of the canoers beginning to portage around a lock on the Rideau River, after setting off from Smiths Falls, Ontario.
