He and his (deceased) wife Janet (LaRonde) moved from North Bay to Oshawa to open Cheshire Home - a home for the physically disabled in 1975. Jules leaves behind his daughters; Astrid Stolzel (Peter), Ingrid Hollinger(D'Arcy McCallum), grandchildren; Jessica Stevenson (Jeremy), James Stolzel (Colleen) and Jordan Stolzel (Andrew Killick) and his great-grandchildren, Logan and Brooklyn Stevenson, and his partner, Janice Cooper. Jules was the second oldest son of thirteen children, and will be missed by his brothers and sisters; Bill Loeffen, Jackie Kurtz, John Loeffen, Annette Kea, Frank Loeffen and Larry Loeffen. John has frequently participated at different outreach gatherings for a decade, he felt good about giving those in need a cigarette.
