The warrant has been issued against Sean Mack- ey, 44, after York Regional Police said he removed the ankle bracelet and left his home in Ajax in late Janu- ary. Mackey is facing 30 charges related to break- ins and vehicle thefts in Durham and York regions. In addition to the charg- es Mackey is already fac- ing, York police have now charged him with failing to comply with judicial re- lease order. After his arrest, Mackey was held for a bail hearing and was released by the courts on several condi- tions including a condition to be wearing a GPS ankle bracelet at all times. York investigators have exhausted a number of leads in attempting to find him and are now appealing for assistance from the community. Mackey is described as a white man, with brown hair, five-feet 10-inches tall (177.8 centimetres), 175 pounds (79.4 kilograms), with a medium build. If anyone sees him, they shouldn't approach him, but call police immediate- ly. He is encouraged to seek legal counsel and turn himself in.
