23 | durhamregion.com This Week | Thursday, March 31, 2022 | WESSELS, Pamela ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother, wife, gramma, and friend Pam Wessels on March 25, 2022, from health complications. Pam was a fan of everything nature - from birds to butterflies. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed watching the growth of all that had been planted each year. She was an amazing cook; could use every herb from garden to stovetop. Enjoyed weekend trips with her husband Tim, with VIP treatment. A great fan of all kinds of music, Burton Cummings and The Guess Who were her number one go to. Pam loved to dance at all events and have a great time. She had a special love for all her family members: daughter Corry (James) and son Aaron (Jessica), five amazing grandchildren who were the love of her life. She will be greatly missed by them all - Mariah, Madelyn, Ava, Charlie, and Ally. Will be forever missed by her husband Tim of forty-three years. The memories of their life together will always be held close to his heart. She will also be missed by all her dear friends and relatives who were always there throughout her entire life. So many memories in such a short time. Cannot forget her feline pet Daiquiri who held a special place in her heart with all the loving that Pam could not get enough of. "I have never loved anyone more than you, Pam. For the last fifty years you have been my rock. You gave me two great children and you were an amazing mother. We worked hard and came a long way. You have been taken from me too early and my heart is broken. You're a beautiful, classy, elegant, smart, one-of-a-kind woman and I was lucky to have you. We did lots of awesome things over the years, had lots of fun and good times; you were the backbone of our family. Loving you made me a better man. I will miss your soft kisses and warm hugs. We were a team. I must say good-bye to you Pam. My love for you will always be with me until the day I die. 'Til we meet again Pammy... OBITUARIES | REMEMBERING THE LIVES OF THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY And have you gone, forever gone and left us here to weep. Till we are called to follow you, and in the grave to sleep. Always so good, unselfish and kind none on this earth your equal I'll find. Honorable and true in all your ways, loving and faithful to the end of your days, honest and liberal, ever upright, just in your judgment, always right. A loving person, so gentle and kind; what a wonderful memory you left behind. Long days, long nights, you bore your pain. To wait for a cure, but all in vain. Till God Himself knew what was best. He took you home and gave you rest.
