His fellow firefighters will miss his cooking skills, as he was always happy to keep their stomachs full and spirits high. Ted was a passionate and selfless man that would lend a hand to anyone at a moment's notice. His love of gardening was admired by anyone driving by the house, and his love of music could be heard throughout the township. Many of his days were spent outdoors and taking in nature, feeding birds and watching the wildlife. He also enjoyed days spent on the motorcycle, ice fishing, boating, snowmobiling, hiking, taking pictures of the things and ones he loved, but most of all spending time with friends and family. He will be missed by all as he was taken from us far too soon. Friends were received at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. And have you gone, forever gone and left us here to weep. Till we are called to follow you, and in the grave to sleep. Always so good, unselfish and kind none on this earth your equal I'll find. Honorable and true in all your ways, loving and faithful to the end of your days, honest and liberal, ever upright, just in your judgment, always right. We are sad within our memory, lonely are our hearts today; for the one we loved so dearly has forever been called away. We think of you in silence, no eye may see us weep; but many silent tears are shed when others are asleep. Heavy are our hearts today, memory brings you back once more, to the time when you were with us, to the happy days of yore.
