The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m. on March 12 at 321 Brock St. S., Durham Regional Police reported. According to police, a man entered the store and became involved in an altercation with an employee. The suspect picked up items and threw them at the employee before the suspect punched the employee in the back, police said The man fled the location and has yet to be identified or located. The employee suffered minor injuries Investigators are looking for assistance identifying the individual, police noted. The suspect is described as a Black man, 30 to 35 years of age, black brush cut hair wearing a blue sweater, grey jeans, white/grey Nike basketball running shoes and winter jacket with a fur hood. Police said the suspect is wanted on assault with a weapon charge.
