A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for 29-year-old Clinton 'Trizzy' McDonald, of no fixed address, after OPP were provided with further information related to the February 2020 death of Alex Tobin, who was shot and killed in an Omemee apartment. OPP say that McDonald has been charged with accessory after the fact (murder). Police say he's known to use aliases and to regularly change his appearance. OPP are warning the public not to approach McDonald if he's spotted and are urging the accused to contact legal counsel and surrender himself to the nearest police In May, OPP announced that four Durham Region residents had been arrested and charged in connection to Tobin's murder. On May 13, police said that Jeremy Brown, 26, of Ajax, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in relation to Tobin's death. He was also charged with fail to comply with condition of release order. Later that month, on May 27, OPP said that Dawson Tullock, 21, of Oshawa had also been charged with accessory after the fact (murder). He was remanded into custody and will appear before a Lindsay court on June 23. Also charged were 76-year-old Oswald Brown and 31-year-old Jordan Brown, both of Ajax, with two counts each of party to the offence of fail to comply with release conditions. Both of the accused have been released from police custody and are scheduled to also appear in court on June 23. A $50,000 reward remains in place for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Tobin's murder. OPP photo An Ajax man has been charged with committing indecent acts and police want to ensure there are no other victims. On three different occasions, a suspect was seen committing indecent acts in Whitby, Durham Regional Police said. The first was on Tuesday, May 24 at about 8 a.m. near Brock Street North and Chestnut Street East, when two females were approached by a man while they waited for the bus, police said. The man stood close to them with his hands in his pockets and he committed an indecent act, police said. On Wednesday, May 25 at about 8 a.m. in the same area, a suspect was seen driving a silver Acura TSX, police said. According to police, a man got out of his vehicle, went to the same bus stop and again committed the same indecent act. On Thursday, May 26, again at 8 a.m. near Brock and Rossland Road East, a suspect was again seen committing the same indecent act, police added. Kannaa Ponniah, 59, of Ajax, has been charged with thee counts of committing an indecent act in a public place and two counts of criminal harassment. He was held for a bail hearing. AJAX MAN ARRESTED AFTER INDECENT ACTS COMMITTED IN WHITBY An Oshawa man has been arrested following several thefts from vehicles in the Brooklin area. Durham Regional Police started an investigation in March of this year into multiple thefts from vehicles in the Columbus Road East and Thickson Road North area, police said. The suspect entered unlocked vehicles, stole property, including identification and banking/credit cards, police noted. The suspect then used the stolen cards at various gas stations in Whitby, police added. On Saturday, May 21, a suspect was located and arrested without incident. Joshua Larcenaire, 30, has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and personation to gain advantage.
