Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Honey) for nearly 59 years. Cherished father of Marilyn (Mel) Tobin, Robert (Sue) Green, Nancy (David) Thompson, and the late Richard Green. Adored grandfather to Ryan, John, Shawn, Kyle, Jason, Justin, Kevin, and Dylan. Loyal brother to Jack (late Helen) Green and brother-in-law to Don (Lorraine) Honey, and Glenda (Carl) Turner. Don was predeceased by his parents Norman and Ethel (nee Whitfield) Green, and his brother-in-law Bill (Joan) Honey. Friend to many, he will be greatly missed for his brilliant mind and mechanical skills. She had a love for music, dancing, gardening, fishing, travelling, annual cottaging and never turned down a trip to the casino. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and making every occasion special and memorable. Family meant everything to her. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of her life will be held at a later time. She will be laid to rest at Little Lake Cemetary in her hometown Peterborough. ROBINSON, Bill ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Robinson on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his home in Oshawa, Ontario. Dear Stepfather of Josh (Lauren), missed by Sister-in Law Gale and Uncle to nephew Ryan and niece Marissa. Predeceased and now reunited with his parents Cec & Marg and brother Jim. After growing up in Ajax, Ontario, Bill settled in Oshawa and was happiest spending time at local haunts with good friends and meeting for lunches with beloved Stepson Josh. In 1999 Bill retired from the Ministry of Finance, Assessment after 29 years of service. He also worked on contract for MPAC where he made new and lasting friendships. An avid golfer, he loved to spend his retirement on the green. A man of few words, his voice and quiet "chuckle" won't be forgotten. Bill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Thornton Arms Pub, 575 Thornton Rd.
