Beloved husband of Theresa, who he shared 61 wonderful years with. Loving dad of Ron Racine and his wife Sandra, and Louise Blanchet and her husband Claude. Cherished grandpa of Justin and his wife Alison (Paco & Ringo), as well as great-grandpa of Hannah and Brody. Jules will also be dearly missed by his many brothers, sisters, brother inlaws and sister in-laws, and his large extended family and friends in Ontario and Quebec. Born November 30, 1943, in Sussex, New Brunswick, Ruth was a long-time resident of Oshawa Ontario before moving to Napanee for nursing home care. She is predeceased by her father Joseph and mother Hilda as well as brothers Stillman and Ivan. Ruth's loss will be felt heavily by Ron, husband of 53 years. Her loss is also noted by her daughter Valerie, son Dale and daughter-in-law Jennifer. Much of Ruth's work life was spent at Zellers or walking the assembly line of General Motors. But her passions were gardening, sewing, knitting, the Toronto Maple Leafs and country music. Ruth was most passion -ate about her grandchildren Ryan, Wesley, Marilla and Maxwell. She also had an impressive sweet tooth and most enjoyed the tastes of her home province - Ganong chocolates and Chicken Bones. As a resident of the John M. Parrott Centre, she spent many enjoyable hours volunteering as a gardener and at the tuck shop until declining health made it impossible. She will be missed by many.
