It's a free event presented by Atria Developments from 3:30 to 9 p.m. "When it comes to much-loved community events in Oshawa, Kars on King is definitely 'a classic' and we are excited to see it rolling back into our downtown," said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter in a press release. "On behalf of the City of Oshawa, I encourage you to join us for what promises to be the perfect summer evening packed with free, fun activities that everyone can enjoy." Visitors can enjoy free and fun activities for all age groups like: • classic car displays • live entertainment on the Main Stage at the four corners of downtown Oshawa (King and Simcoe streets) • opening ceremonies on the Main Stage at 5 p.m. • children's entertainers, crafts, animal acts and more at Memorial Park (near Simcoe and Metcalfe streets) • community displays • sponsor activations • strolling buskers • a wide variety of culinary choices from various downtown Oshawa restaurants You can also participate in the event by showing off your own classic, mint-condition vehicle -- if you have one.
