She fought until the very end like the warrior she was. We will miss her loving nature, quick wit and infectious laugh, her kindness and forgiveness but most of all, her beautiful smile. She was a sister, aunt, great- aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin, and a faithful friend to anyone she knew. She is survived by her brother Art Ewtushik (Lorraine, deceased) and sister Marg Ewtushik (Patrick). Aunt Lucy Pawlowsky, nieces Sherry Ewtushik (Ryan), Angela Ewtushik (Rick), Laura Ewtushik (Dallas). Nephews Dean Ewtushik (Pam) and Shawn Ewtushik. Great niece Lindsey Ricioppo (Fausto) and great nephew Nolan Ewtushik (Kristen). A loving great aunt to Kaitlyn and Joel Buckingham. Great-great aunt to Kaiya and Nicco Ewtushik, and Leo, Mila, and Luca Ricioppo. Cousins Bob Pawlowsky, Roman Pawlowsky, Randy Rogocki and Brenda Hyde. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Mary Ewtushik (nee Melnychuk), sister Dolly Ewtushik and brother Bill Ewtushik. She was an angel on earth that now watches over us each day. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held later. Thank you for supporting Linda through both good and troubled times. She loved all in a way only she could. He was born on September 12, 1933 to Russell and Ruth Down. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Duff (1989). He will be lovingly and proudly remembered by his two daughters, Karen (Eric), and Patty (Raymond). Cherished Grandpa to Jessica, Jenna, Taylor, Kirsten and Gregory. Cherished husband of Karen for 44 years. Beloved father of Kaitlin (Ryan) and Kyle (Jesse). Proud & loving grandfather of Colton and Callum. Loving brother to Richard and Dian. Sadly missed by all his fur babies. A lover of the great outdoors, Bob's yearly fishing trip to the French River was the highlight of the summer. He began this yearly trip in his 20's and continued into his 70's, willingly sharing the adventure with friends and family. Green Island was his paradise. Bob's other interest was curling. Beginning in the 1970's and retiring from the sport in 2017, he was an active member of the Whitby Curling Club for many years. Bob's greatest accomplishment were his children, Kaitlin and Kyle. Always wanting to give them a better life than what he had. He was extremely proud of all their accomplishments from childhood and onwards. They were always on his mind and there for them at the drop of a hat. He was their "hero" The family would like to thank friends and family for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. There are no words to describe how thankful we are for your caring and generosity. Thank you to the incredible nursing staff on 4B for the exemplary care and compassion shown to Bob and the family.
