Meeting quarterly, the members randomly draw three local charities to make a presentation about their organization and then vote one of the charities to be the recipient of a $100 cheque from each member that evening. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the chosen charity. The parade is back with members of the senior band at Bowmanville High School taking up organizing the event, to be held on Nov. 1 at Waverley Place in Bowmanville.
