MOORE, Harold William April 13, 1955 - November 23, 2022 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ If anyone could find something hilariously inappropriate to say at a time like this, it would have been our Dad. His sudden and unexpected passing at age 67 has left a permanent hole in the lives of all that loved him. His Children, Ashley Pierce (Derrick), Ray Moore (Andrea), and nine Grandchildren, Kinsley, Cohen, Rylen, Caelum, Sutton, Auley, Haleigh, Peyton and Easton, will all miss him terribly. Born and raised in Whitby, Son of the late Clarence and Florence Moore. He was a talented athlete, particularly in baseball as a Pitcher for the Whitby Merchants and later as the Coach. Also an impressive bowler as well as billiards player, you'd be hard pressed to find someone as effortlessly gifted with a pool cue. The 4 Pool Ball Challenge at the CNE stood no chance with Dad, and we had the giant stuffed prizes to prove it! Having always preferred to sit at the kids table, he was a natural Father and then Grandfather, spending time with his Grand- kids was something he truly enjoyed in his life. Movie theatres, hotel pools and trips to Dairy Queen will never feel the same. His one-of-a-kind sense of humour and easy going nature will be sorely missed. Remembered also by his Sister Leanne (Tim), two brothers, nieces, nephews, Purolator co-workers, and many friends. A new bench will be dedicated at Groveside Cemetery in memory of our Dad, and a private family ceremony will be held at its unveiling. OBITUARIES | REMEMBERING THE LIVES OF THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY Pleasant in manner, patient in pain, our loss is your eternal gain. What would I give to clasp your hand, your happy face to see, to hear your voice and see your smile, that meant so much to me. The rolling stream of life rolls on. But still the vacant chair recalls the love, the voice, the smile of the one who once sat there. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. IN MEMORIAM IN MEMORIAM
