John will be fondly remem- bered by family and friends as a loving and dedicated father, WWII veteran with the RCAF from 1942-1945 as well as a 40 -year employee of Canadian General Electric. John was a sports enthusiast, baseball being his first love, playing at The Beaches Club as well as filling the role of Umpire in Chief at Leaside's Talbot Park. He was an avid Blue Jay and Leaf fan. A Celebration of Life for John will be held on December 4th at Markham Green Golf Course, 120 Rouge Bank Drive, Markham, Ontario from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in John's name to SickKids Foundation at sickkidsfoundation.com BUGELLI, Joseph E ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Lynda Bugelli (nee Thompson). Proud father of Ernest (Lisa), Jeffery, Teresa, Adrian (Maggie) and Ryan (Jaimie). Mr. Kennett is General Motors Canada retiree. He passed away at his home on October 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn his common law partner, family and friends. Sur -vived by his common law spouse Carmelita Dowers, sister Mary Nowlan, step children Andrew and Katherine Camacho, step grandchildren, step great - grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Card, brother George (known to many as Joe) Kennett and Grace Shifflett. SHAW, Joyce Corinne ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Age 92, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 31, 2022. Dearly beloved wife of the Late David Shaw of 61 years. Loving Mother to Bill (Karen), Charles (Jackie) and Robert (Sara). Loving momma to Christina (Chad), Laura and Sara. Loving grandma to Lucas and Cooper. Beloved sister to brother Bustin (predeceased) and Margaret (predeceased). She will be remembered and missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Joyce was an excellent artist, specializing in painting and drawing. She dabbled in interior decorating and was an avid collector of collectible plates. She loved travelling the world and walking her dog, Bernie, down by the lake in Oshawa with her husband by her side. Joyce's love for the royal family never went unnoticed. Her birthday was the same as the late Queen Elizabeth II. Known for her tender heart, gracious charm and strength, her love for her family and grandchildren was felt by everyone around her. She was a wonderful mother and friend to her three sons. Joyce will be remembered for her sense of humour, good nature and she was a friend to all. The family appreciates all of your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
