Town Line – At the last regular meeting of Union Grange NO. 108, held Feb. 23rd, the report of the delegate to Dominion Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry was received, in which he stated that, although no new granges had been organized in the past year, there had been thirteen old ones reorganized and are in a prosperous condition. He also stated that the executive committee were recommended to ask the Dom. Government for several changes in legislation, among which were the reduction of postage form 3 cents to 2 cents, the reduction of the tariff on some of our commodities, and also to place binder twine on the free list.
At our next meeting, Mar. 8, &:30 p.m. there is to be a discussion on each of the subjects following – (1) Is it more profitable to feed cattle off at two years rather than three years old? (2) What crops will be most profitable for us to grow this coming season?
