Full Text: Lori Melien of Whitby will compete in the Commonwealth Games in Montreal Jan. 25 -30 after earning a place on the Canadian swim team with runner-up finishes in two events at the games’ trials.

Second in both the 100 m. and 200 m. backstroke at the Commonwealth trials, Melien is very pleased with her results and looks for similar success in Montreal.
