- Premier E.C. Drury officially opened the two acute hospital buildings at the Ontario Hospital at Whitby. They are the buildings north of the administration building, and for many years were called the pavilions. Premier Drury also participated in the graduation exercises for the Ontario Hospital School of Nurses on the occasion.
Margaret Kennedy, principal of the Brock Street School in Whitby, asked Mr. Drury to pose for this picture in front of the acute hospital building. - Date of Original
