- This is a black and white portrait of William John Greenwood (1857-1945).
- Notes
- William John Greenwood was classics master at the Whitby Collegiate Institute from 1886 to 1892. From 1892 to 1915, he was an English teacher and mathematics teacher at the Ontario Ladies' College. In 1906, he was secretary of the faculty of the College. In 1915, he retired and moved to Mitchell, Ontario. He was born at Fullerton Township, Canada West, on September 8, 1857. He died in Toronto, Ontario on December 7, 1945 and is buried at Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell.
