The white building is 'Vanstone Mill' which is still in existence. The road on the right side of this building is Highway # 2 (the old Kingston Road) which runs east & west through Bowmanville, Ontario which is 10 miles east of Oshawa.

I have this same engraved photo in black and white, looks original, but not sure, how can I tell? I don’t want to take it out of the frame to have a closer look as I fear ruining it.
