- A black and white portrait photograph of Private Lloyd Clifford ("Perry") Johnson.

- Private Lloyd Clifford ("Perry") Johnson was born at Whitby on October 3, 1909, son of Perry and Sarah Jane Bell Johnson. He attended the King and Dundas Street Public Schools and Whitby High School. At the time of his enlistment in July 1940 he worked for the Whitby Malleable Iron and Brass Co. He received his training at Petawawa and went overseas in December 1940. He participated in the Dieppe Raid, the Normandy landings and the battles of Caen and Fallaise. He was killed in action in France on October 25, 1944.
According to the Canadian Virtual War Memorial site he is commemorated at page 346 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance. He is interred at BERGEN-OP-ZOOM CANADIAN WAR CEMETERY, Netherlands. He was a member of the Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C. - Inscriptions
