My Grandfather, Joseph Cowx, is seated 2nd from the left on the front row. He arrived in Canada from England in 1910, took up residence in Whitby, and probably started working at the Buckle Factory shortly thereafter. He worked there until he retired sometime in the late 1940's or early 50's.

Second paragraph under "NOTES: should read: Located at 300 Brock Street South, the buckle Factory was on the west side of Brock Street between Dunlop and Gilbert Streets
