- A black and white portrait photograph of Reverend Hugh Crozier (1840-1928).
- Notes
- Reverend Hugh Crozier was born, likely in Mono Township, Upper Canada, on December 1, 1840 and attended school in Streetsville and Toronto. He went to Knox College, Toronto in 1862 and in 1864 entered a three-year course in theology. He then took charge of the Allan Settlement Mission Field, Madoc Township, Hastings County. In 1866 he preached at Kepple Township, west of Owen Sound, and proceeded to Princeton. He was ordained in 1869 as a Presbyterian Minister and was stationed 10 years at Holstein, Ontario. From 1879 to 1884 he was at Port Perry, 1884 to 1899 at Grand Valley and 1899 to 1909 at Ashburn, in Whitby Township. He retired in 1909 after 40 years in the ministry and lived from 1909 to 1921 at Guelph. He then moved to London and died at Thamesford near London, on January 23, 1928. He is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario.
