Mr. Sinclair had a daughter named Mary. Their neighbour, Mr. Robert Muggeridge, left Mary his farm (the west part of lot 17 next door to the Glenrath farm)in his will. He died in 1879. The will directed that Mary rent the property to her father to farm.
I am wondering if this part of the property was also part of Camp X. It appears that it was in the old maps I have seen on the internet.
I have been doing a lot of research on the Whitby area and Robert Muggeridge. It is fascinating history. Your website is interesting. Thank you.
