- A black and white portrait photograph of Francis Joseph McIntyre, 1891-1958.
- Notes
- Francis Joseph McIntyre was born at Whitby on August 27, 1891 and was in the hardware business until his retirement in 1956. He was active in sports and was the first chairman of the Whitby Community Arena Board in the 1950s. He was President of the Whitby Rotary Club in 1953-54. During the Second World War he was Chairman of the Whitby War Relief Committee. He was also a member of the Board of Education. Mr. McIntyre died at Toronto on October 27, 1958 and is buried in St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
