- A black and white portrait photograph of Charles Clark (1796-1880).
- Notes
- Charles Clark was born at Chester, Connecticut, U.S.A. on March 13, 1796. He opened a brewery on Ash Street in Whitby in 1843 and continued this business until he left Whitby for the United States about 1863. Until 1851 he was in partnership with his son, Philander M. Clark. In 1852, Charles Clark was the first Master of Composite Masonic Lodge which was formed in that year. He died at Fulton, New York, U.S.A., on February 19, 1880, where he is buried.
