A black and white photograph of George Alexander Ross (1858-1936). This print was published in Whitby United Church Centennial book.
Notes
George Alexander Ross was born at Whitby on July 11, 1858 and from 1878 to 1924 was a partner with his brother Hugh Ross in Ross Brothers, dry goods and clothing store on Brock Street South. He died at Whitby on June 13, 1936 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
