- A black and white photograph of Francis (Frank) George Erskine (1870-1935).
- Notes
- Frank Erskine was born in Scotland on October 6, 1870. As a young man he sailed around the world three times. He served in the South African War in 1899 and after 1900 came to Canada, settling at Montreal. In 1909 he came to Whitby and carried on his business as a commercial traveler. He was very active in the work of All Saints' Anglican Church, holding several positions. He was Principal of Keystone Chapter No. 35, Royal Arch Masons in Whitby in 1919 and Master of Composite Lodge No. 30 in 1920. He held many other offices in Masonry over the years. He died at Whitby on his 65th birthday on October 6, 1935 and is buried at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby.
