Robert Ebenezer Perry is my great great grandfather and I have found the following information from the Government of Canada, Library and Archives Item# 13800.
RE Perry was postmaster of Bracebridge from 1870-04-01 until his resignation 1879-03-03.
Robert Peter Perry, his son, took over the postmaster position after his fathrs resignation and held to post until 1938-04-26
